Artist Residency Programs
The Townley Arts Foundation's Artist Residency Programs is a non-profit foundation that responds directly to the immediate needs of the artistic community, and promote the development of artistic work. These residencies are available to artists working in all disciplines, via open-call applications or nomination processes or contests.
The studio spaces are located in the gallery's donated spaces throughout our building's facility at 373 Broadway in Lower Manhattan and in our Arts Center at 7 Franklin Place. These programs are free to participating artists and 100% donated. In some situations the art supplies are 100% donated as well. We currently do not support live-in studios, only working studios.
Townley's Artist Residency programs currently include Workspace, Exhibitions Space and Art Supplies.
NO FEES TO APPLY: to apply for the residency program artists are asked to send 3-5 images and biography including all contact info to: email@example.com | ph. 917-472-9015
Resident artists chosen will have access to the Arts Center year-round where they will receive their own dedicated studio space as well as access to all of the Arts Center’s common/shared spaces. Opportunities for professional and creative development are programmed throughout the residency period, and Open Studios Weekends and TriBeCa's 1st Thursdays events will take place throughout the public season.
